Shed Guevara

Shed-guevara

I have just got my first piece of art up on the walls of my garden office. I don't need to tell you how much I like this image. It stands for so much. It has an incredible history and has come to symbolize so many things. One minute it's on a banner in a march, the icon of revolution and the next it's symbolizing the underdog, the iconaclast, printed on a t-shirt worn by someone who may have no idea about the man and his politics. But that's OK. For me it's just as much about the iconic image as the icon himself. For me it's about the revolution of lots of things.

My framed print is a limited original from the creator of the iconic image himself @JimFitzpatrick. I got to meet Jim in Dublin, we talked about it the image and meeting Che Geuvara..

Later in the day we had another chat. This time in my car and we talk more about his art and the process of creating it.

I'm not sure what else will adorn the walls. More images that inspire I hope.

I was having an amazing dream this morning. Of course I can't remember it now. All i remember was that at 6:30am the sound of knuckles against window entered my sleeping mind and dragged me reluctantly into reality.

Outside my misty morning street was a delivery guy standing with a van load of furniture he was hoping only had to be lifted across my threshhold.. Little did he know..

I phoned the company first thing and they apologised. First for what had happened and then for the Manager I needed to speak to not being there. They told me they'd refund the delivery charge. A charge I'd initially thought was free if you spend X amount anyway and so upgraded to the two man deal.

You know me.. credit where credit is due and honest feedback where I think it's needed. I could really do with a click of my knackered back. I may lay on my shed floor in the hope to sort it out.
